Quinerly enters his first season with the Arizona Rattlers and in the IFL in 2022.
In 2019, Quinerly was named to the All-MEAC first team as a defensive back at Norfolk State University. In three seasons and 34 games with the Spartans, Quinerly recorded 225 tackles – 130 of them solo – nine interceptions, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 17 pass deflections.
He also recorded one career sack. Prior to his time at Norfolk State, Quinerly attended East Carolina University, where he recorded two tackles and played special teams in two seasons (one redshirt) with the Pirates.
The Norfolk, Va native graduated from Lake Taylor High School in 2015, where he was a first-team Class 4A all-state wide receiver and defensive back on the Titans’ 15-0 state championship squad in 2014. Quinerly was also awarded the Conference 17 Player of the Year award and was an All-Tidewater selection while serving as a team captain his senior year.
He was ranked as the No. 34 prospect in the state of Virginia in the Class of 2015 according to Scout.com, and was a first-team all-state and second-team All-Tidewater defensive back as a junior, while as a sophomore, was an all-region choice. Quinerly was an honor roll student during all four years at Lake Taylor.
