Lamar Mady joins the Arizona Rattlers for his 9th season with the team in 2025.
With multiple awards and recognitions under his belt, Mady has earned four seasons of first-team All-IFL Honors (2017-2019, 2024) and three seasons of second-team All-IFL Honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023. In 2024, he played a crucial role in the Rattlers’ offensive line, helping Arizona become the fourth-highest-scoring offense in the league. The previous year, Mady was a key part of the IFL's top-ranked offense, contributing to a ground attack that notched 53 touchdowns and over 1,200 yards. Throughout his time in the desert, he has established himself as a leader and one of the league's most reliable veterans.
Mady's professional career began with the Oakland Raiders, where he played in seven games and spent four seasons on their practice squad. He started his college journey at Butler County Community College, earning first-team All-Jayhawk Conference and first-team All-Region VI honors. After transferring to Youngstown State, Mady appeared in 22 games without allowing a single sack or pressure.
A native of Topeka, Kansas, Mady attended Topeka High School, where he was a first-team All-Centennial League selection and a second-team All-Centennial League pick. As a center and defensive tackle, he excelled on the field.
