Biography

Jaylen Perkins joins the IFL in 2024 for his rookie season with the Arizona Rattlers.

Perkins started his football career at Iowa Western C.C. where he played for 2 seasons. He later attended UNK where he was one of their top defensive backs. Perkins switched from safety to CB during his time with UNK, but ultimately transferred his talents to Grand View University where he continued to play at the CB position. In his 2023 season, he had 27 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, and 4 interceptions.

Perkin’s hometown is in Omaha, NE, and attended Omaha Northwest High School.
