Arizona Rattlers

Robert Landers enters his first season with the Arizona Rattlers and in the IFL in 2022.

Landers played college football at Ohio State University, where in 52 career games for the Buckeyes, he recorded 65 tackles – 38 of them solo – 2.5 sacks and 23.5 tackles for loss. 

The Dayton, Ohio native attended Wayne High School in Huber Heights, Ohio, where he was named second-team Associated Press all-state and all-Southwest District,, was an all-Southwest Ohio Team 25 honoree and was named as the all-area defensive player of the year during his senior season. 

During his career at Wayne, Landers recorded 153 tackles and 16.5 tackles for loss. Scout listed Landers as the No. 4-ranked defensive lineman in the state of Ohio in the Class of 2016, the No. 6 defensive lineman in the Midwest and as the No. 29 defensive tackle in the country. As a junior in 2014, Landers won the 2014 state track and field competition in the shot put.
