Biography

Omari Alexander joins the Arizona Rattlers for his second season in the IFL in 2025. 

Alexander saw action in 17 games, accumulating 47 solo tackles and 20 assists. He also had 2 interceptions for 16 yards and 7 pass breakups. 

The rookie defensive back played college football at Eastern Kentucky, where he appeared in 20 games before joining Western Kentucky University in 2019. At WKU, Alexander completed three seasons with the Hilltoppers. In his grad season, he totaled 29 tackles and 3 interceptions, two of which came in a 21-point victory against Rice. Alexander was a 2020 Burlsworth Trophy Nominee and made the PFF College All-CUSA Third Team.  

Alexander is from Louisville, Kentucky, and attended DuPont Manual High School.
