Box Score Glendale, AZ – The Arizona Rattlers closed out their regular season with a 46-26 road loss to the San Diego Strike Force. With the win, San Diego secured the No. 3 seed in the IFL playoffs, while the Rattlers maintained their No. 2 seed. The Rattlers will host the Strike Force in Glendale on August 4th for a first-round playoff rematch.
Tough First Half, Late Push
The Rattlers opened with a strong drive but couldn't maintain momentum through the first half. A scoreless second quarter allowed San Diego to pull ahead 30-6 by halftime. Arizona responded with a better second half, outscoring the Strike Force in the third quarter and cutting into the lead, but the early hole was ultimately too deep to climb out of.
Offensive Production Highlighted by Big Plays
Quarterback Dalton Sneed went 9-for-16 through the air for 107 yards and two touchdowns, connecting with Yo'Heinz Tyler, who totaled 34 receiving yards with one touchdown, as well as Jordin Parker, who totaled 38 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Rattler's rushing attack produced several explosive plays. Shannon Brooks led the ground game with 69 rushing yards on eight carries. Ron Brown Jr. followed closely behind, totaling 44 rushing yards with one touchdown, while Jamal Miles added 39 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Defensive Standouts
Despite the final score, the Rattlers' defense saw strong individual performances. Autjoe Soe and Isaiah Huff led the team with six total tackles each, while Jalen Campbell and Jarmaine Doubs recorded five tackles each.
