Losing Streak Comes To An End As The Rattlers Win 48-28

Box Score

Glendale, AZ – The Rattlers are back! After a tough four-game stretch, the Rattlers bounced back with a big win, taking down the Green Bay Blizzard 48-28. After a tight first quarter, the Rattlers flipped the switch and never looked back, quickly taking the lead for the rest of the game. Both teams now sit at an overall record of 8-5.

Offense on their A-Game

Quarterback Dalton Sneed delivered a well-rounded performance, completing 12 of 17 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 32 yards and two additional scores. His ability to extend plays on the ground gave Arizona a consistent edge throughout the night.

Running back Ron Brown Jr. had an elite performance, leading the offense with 104 rushing yards and three touchdowns on just 11 carries. He also added six receptions for 96 yards and a receiving touchdown. Brown Jr. has become one of the most dangerous dual-threat weapons in the league. Wide receiver Isaiah Huston contributed with three catches for 18 yards, and Jordin Parker added 16 rushing yards and 9 receiving yards.

Defensive Firepower

The Rattlers made key stops and forced turnovers to keep the Blizzard in check. Jarmaine Doubs led the team with nine tackles and a fumble recovery, while Davontae Merriweather followed closely with seven tackles. Ethan Casselberry recorded an interception and returned it for 11 yards, and Omari Alexander added two pass breakups and four tackles to help contain Green Bay's passing game.

Looking Ahead

The Arizona Rattlers will be on bye this week, getting some much needed rest. They will then return to the Snake Pit on July 12th, where they'll face off against the San Diego Strike Force. Kickoff is set for 6:05 PM. Tickets are available now, don't miss it!
