Box Score Glendale, AZ — Under the bright lights of Lee's Family Forum, the Arizona Rattlers clashed with the Vegas Knight Hawks for the second time this season. But unlike their earlier meeting, this time it was the Knight Hawks who came out on top, handing the Rattlers a 52-37 loss, and their second lost of the season.Â
Offense Finds Stride, But Momentum Slips Away
Quarterback Dalton Sneed led a dynamic offensive effort for Arizona, finishing with 143 yards through the air on 11 completions, along with 20 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Though the Knight Hawks couldn't force a turnover from Sneed, they were able to apply enough pressure to keep the Rattlers chasing points for much of the night.
Running back Ron Brown Jr. continued to make his mark in the backfield, powering his way to 46 yards on 12 carries and 2 touchdowns.Â
New Additions Make Impact
Wide receiver Austin Johnson, playing in just his second game in Rattlers colors, provided a spark with 2 catches for 28 yards, including a pivotal 18-yard reception that helped ignite a scoring drive. His presence added depth to Arizona's receiving corps.
Jamal Miles remained a key playmaker, recording a team-high 54 receiving yards on 5 receptions and adding 44 yards on kick returns. Whether stretching the field or working underneath, Miles once again proved his value as a versatile threat.
Looking Ahead
Now sitting at a pivotal point in the season, the Rattlers will head to Florida for a road matchup against the Jacksonville Sharks on Saturday, June 7, kickoff is slated for 4:05 PM MST.
Arizona will be looking to bounce back and recapture momentum as the postseason race continues.Â
