GLENDALE, Arizona (November 18, 2025) – The Arizona Rattlers have signed a defensive back with a history at the highest levels of professional football.

Keylon Kennedy, 6-0, 195 pounds, spent the 2023 season with the XFL's Vegas Vipers and 2024 with the St. Louis Battlehawks of the UFL.

He played in seven games with the Battlehawks, including a postseason game, recording six tackles. A year earlier with the Vipers, Kennedy had 32 solo tackles and four assists and picked off two passes. He also was signed by the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League last season but was released before the season began.

Kennedy spent two years at Fort Hays State University and two years at Garden City Community College in Daytona Beach, Fla., before turning pro.

He adds to a stable of 13 defensive backs who will be competing for jobs when the Rattlers open camp in 2026.
