Glendale, AZ – The Arizona Rattlers announce the signings of three new players for the 2025 IFL season: running back Ron Brown Jr., defensive back Ethan Caselberry, and defensive lineman Juan Watkins Jr.

Ron Brown Jr. - Running Back
Ron Brown Jr. joins the Rattlers for his first professional season after an impressive college career at Shepherd University. In 2023, Brown was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he showcased his talents in the preseason, recording 12 carries for 33 yards and three catches for 38 yards over three games.

During his four seasons at Shepherd, Brown amassed 3,041 rushing yards on 370 carries, scoring 30 rushing touchdowns. He also excelled as a receiver, tallying 81 catches for 1,158 yards and 11 touchdowns, along with 59 kick returns for 1,404 yards and one touchdown.

Ethan Caselberry - Defensive Back
Ethan Caselberry makes his way to the Rattlers after a successful stint at Austin Peay, where he served as one of five season-long captains. In his final season, he started 10 of 11 games at safety, finishing with 47 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and three interceptions, tying for the team lead.

Before transferring to Austin Peay, Caselberry had an impressive four-year career at Virginia Military Institute (VMI), where he recorded 270 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 23 pass breakups, and two interceptions. His versatility earned him Second Team All-SoCon honors twice. In the Fall 2021 season, he recorded 73 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, and seven pass breakups.

Juan Watkins Jr. - Defensive Lineman
Juan Watkins Jr. joins the Rattlers for his first IFL season after spending the 2024 season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the CFL. Watkins had a successful collegiate career at Ohio University, where he tallied 46 total tackles, including 19 solo stops, and led the team with 14 tackles for loss in 2022. He also recorded 4.5 sacks, two pass breakups, and two forced fumbles that year.

In 2023, he added 33 tackles, with 15 being solo, and contributed eight tackles for loss and five sacks. His strong performance led to his selection to the All-MAC Third Team Defense and the Fourth Team Defense on the Phil Steele All-MAC Postseason Teams.

The Arizona Rattlers are looking forward to integrating three exceptional athletes into their roster for the upcoming season.
