GAME PREVIEW: ARIZONA VS. SAN DIEGO

The Arizona Rattlers will look to improve to a perfect 5-0 on the season at home against San Diego.

PHOENIX - The Arizona Rattlers will look to continue their dominance this season and improve to 5-0 as they host the San Diego Strike Force on Friday night at 7:05 PM at the Footprint Center.

The IFL-best Arizona Rattlers are in search of their second 5-0 start in their last three seasons as they host the 1-3 San Diego Strike Force.

Early Season Dominance

The Arizona Rattlers are off to a hot start at 4-0, and they've been dominant from start to finish in every game. They are outscoring opponents by a league-best 32.2 points per-game. Arizona leads the league in points per game (52.0) and points allowed per-game (19.8).

Powell's Presence

Drew Powell is picking up where he left off last season, leading the IFL in completion percentage (74.1%), touchdowns (15), and passing yards (581). He also been a dual threat per usual on the ground, rushing for a league-best 6.7 yards per carry. He's 4th overall in total rushing yards on the season as well, sitting at 134 through 4 games.

Breakout Receivers

The pair of second year receivers in Isaiah Huston and Braxton Haley are off to quick starts. Isaiah Huston has five touchdowns which is tied for the most in the league, and he missed the first game. Braxton Haley leads the team in receiving yards at 199, and 15 receptions (tied with Huston) to go with his three touchdowns. The dynamic duo is in the top 10 in nearly every receiving category league-wide.

Lockdown Defense

The Rattlers' defense has been sensational, only allowing 19.8 points per game to their opponents, which is the least in the IFL with the next closest being the Northern Arizona Wranglers at 23.3 points allowed per game. Those are the only two teams to limit their opponents below 30 points per game.
