Bio

After joining the team in 2016, Jarnigan helped the Rattlers win the United Bowl championship in 2017 and their most recent IFL Championship in 2024. Prior to joining the Rattlers, he spent seven seasons with the San Jose Sabercats in various coaching roles. Additionally, he was the defensive coordinator for the Austin Wranglers in 2004. Alongside his coaching experience, Jarnigan brings 21 years of sales experience to the Rattlers.

Jarnigan also has experience as a head coach, having served as head coach for the IFL's Minnesota Rage in 2000, before being named head coach of the Oklahoma City Yard Dogz from 2005 to 2006. From 1988 to 1999, Jarnigan worked for four different collegiate programs, including Fort Hays State University, Bethel College, Morningside College, and Carleton College. During this time, he primarily served as either an offensive line or defensive line coach.

The Midwest City, Oklahoma native played football at Southwestern College from 1982 to 1987.
