ARENA FOOTBALL EXPERIENCE
Fabrizio Scaccia is entering his first season in the AFL with the Arizona Rattlers.
OTHER EXPERIENCE
Before joining the Rattlers, Fabrizio played semi-pro ball from 2004-2009 for the St. Lucie Bobcats. He is a member of the Minor League Football Hall of Fame and was named the 2008 National Player of the Year. He was also named Florida Bowl MVP four times in 2005, ’06, ’07, and ’08. Most notably, Fabrizio currently holds the world record for longest field goal ever kicked in a game, a 68-yarder. He has also kicked field goals of 62 and 66 yards.
COLLEGE
Fabrizio attended Indian River State College where he did not play football because he was playing semi-pro ball. He was offered scholarships to play for Ohio State and South Carolina, but turned them down to stay close to his family.
PERSONAL
Fabrizio was born on 8/21/84 to mother Paula and father Bruno. His brother Massimo is the kicker for the AFL’s Jacksonville Sharks. He played football for four years in high school as a kicker. Fabrizio is also a talented soccer player, playing four years in high school. He was First-Team All-State in soccer in 2001, ’02, and ’03 and holds the Florida High School record with six goals in a single game.
